I humbly acknowledge that all this
came from you,
Oh, Great One.
But
in my daily life, how should I relate to you?
and how can I begin to see you more
clearly
Oh Worthy One?
You must see Me in the little things,
You must feel Me in your Surroundings,
You can sense Me through the Mystery
of things.
And you shall know Me in My Splendor.
I Am All things, and I am in All
things.
Throughout your life, I have tried to
reach you,
but you do not Listen, my child.
But I try, and I try, and I try.
I am Ceaseless, and Endless, and
Forever true to you, My Children.
I am a loving Father, and I wish for
your Awakening,
and I long for your Compassion.
My Heart goes out to All of you, and
hopefully,
yours will come back to Me.
I can Extend myself Forever, and
I need naught to sustain Me.
I am forever Free,
and Forever Young and Flowing.
I grow older only in Wisdom, and
I grow younger only in you.
You are my Children, My Beginning and
my End.
Without you I Am nothing, and without
Me, you are naught.
But together we are free my Child,
to mingle in Eternity, to share with
one another
the joy of our Discovery.
A greatness in each other, and
a Humility in us All.
One in One another.
This weekend I decided we should visit the
little village I grew up in. Well it's been over twenty years since I
walked through that village, and as I walked that old familiar road again, I
saw the little store and Post office, just like I'd seen it before, as a child.
I even 'saw' my bike, still leaning against the corner of the store, and me
digging for a nickel to buy a chocolate bar.
We decided to go and see my old school, and along the way I started to
remember every tree and stump, just like it used to be. Like a miracle, the tall dead snags, which
had long since fallen, still stood tall amongst the newer trees, great shadows
of the past. The dark woods, which I
used to run through, no longer gave me the creeps, but their memory still
remained.
And although the road was straighter now, and many of the puddles were
gone, I still saw them right there, were they should have been. As we came out of the woods, the little log
school came into view, the summer sun glistened, my eyes squinted, and for a
brief moment I heard the voices from my Past. The school bell rang, and
suddenly I was back.
Is this our Larger Being, the
memory of life coming back with new perspective? I started thinking about my
childhood, I remembered moments that stood out more clearly, but I didn't quite
know why.
There was something special about those moments, which was still there
within me. I began to recognize a similarity, which seemed to run through all
the moments, something sacred about each of them, that was connected to a larger
part of myself. Each moment seemed to belong to another Time, yet was
somehow more meaningful, now that I was older.
The Moments seemed more real to me now, because each was connected in a
more meaningful way. They seemed to fit into a pattern, a ‘picture’ of my life
within a larger state of being, shared in the presence of something
sacred. A picture of my life with its
highlights emphasized, in the Light of my Larger
Being.
I was seeing myself as living two Lives, one that I was living in the
ordinary sense, and the other, which I was living according to the golden rule,
my true self. I saw that the special
moments, which were now coming back to me were like time slots, but which had
an eternal quality to them, a kind of sacredness overlapping my ordinary life -
like a deja vu experience coming true.
I began to wonder about Time.
Maybe our life is like a single scene, of a much larger picture
(possibility). The picture of that
possibility rests with our Larger Being. Our Life is like a time line extending away
from our Larger Being, but it
overlaps with All Time, when we're on cue with our true self (our Larger Being). Whenever we live according to our true self we experience a
moment of Eternity, and there is a
special stuff that makes that moment become fixed in our psyche, a Magic Moment
in Time.
Should we decide to live according to our true self, our true purpose,
the magic moments get spaced closer together, and our purpose becomes more
recognizable. There comes a Time, when
our life begins to respond to our true self.
It is at this point that we
become one with our inner Being. We come to recognize that we are living within
a Larger Being. This could be called
eternal living, because it is the totality of our self, living according to the
totality of our life - the Larger Being
in the world.
We are on a Journey, which is interconnected with other aspects of our lives.
One aspect of our life can sometimes come into view, with the totality
of our life. We see a connection, and are immediately drawn in, by the power of
our Larger Being.
In a sense our time here on Earth is relative to Eternity (All
Time). A moment of Eternity can be
experienced in the Now moment, if that moment is on cue with our inner Being,
because our inner Being exists in a state of timelessness.
Another way of describing that relativity would be fast time and slow
time. Our life here on Earth is fast
time and the Eternal moments we experience are on slow time, or All Time. Our life can be seen as a slot within the
total picture. Each individual life is
like a series of picture frames coming out of a projector. All the frames together form the tube of
Time, through which History moves. The Creator runs the projector. The Creator
has the power to 'cut' and 'paste'.
So we are free to do what we like, except we may fall behind in relation
to how fast all the 'frames' are coming into the ‘picture’ within the total
life of the world, which is also coming to some kind of fulfillment. When that
happens, some ‘frames’ may have to scramble for a position in the big picture. Fortunately there are indicators that help
‘frames’ stay on line, and a Scripture which passes through all Time, that
saves frames from falling into the abyss - The Bible,
the Koran, the Torah, etc.
There is no way of telling which frame is closer to Eternity, because
death effectively hides everything from us.
However, when we do experience an Eternal moment, we know that we are on
cue. There's something special about
that moment, an awareness of being a part of the Total Being in the world, a
recognition of having been at-one with our Larger
Being - a sacred moment indeed.
This weekend when I saw my childhood in relation to All Time, I realized
that it was probably possible to live many lives, and experience many cultures
and times. I became aware of the sacredness in sharing such a possibility with
other lives, and was humbled by it. I recognized that the family of humanity is
connected through an eternal chain of time.
We are all passing through and over each other in an intricate network of
experiences and memories, which are recorded in the Dream World. History is the
train, which provides the connections; our lives are like cars, going along the
track.
During our life, our task is to recognize when our Larger Being is present in our lives, and to try to remember those
special moments. Once we begin to see
what is required of us, we begin to live accordingly. Our reward is an
awareness of His Presence in our lives.
For me, this is a meaningful way of describing our Larger Being. If we consider everything around us as being sacred,
a part of our Larger Being, we begin
to walk in a sacred manner. We walk with little shoes.
Learning how to live in tune with our Larger Being is
important. It’s important to respond
and recognize when He has spoken, and to heed the Lessons He places before us.
The archetypes in all religions come from a universal source, but each culture
interprets them according to their own unique history - The Bible, the Koran, the Torah, etc.
As individuals we are judged when we pass through to the other side. But in reality our judgment is on going. Our
past is recorded in relation to the degree of honor in our decision making,
both as individuals and as a planet.
Justice prevails. If we have it
coming, we'll get it, sooner or later.
There are Presences surrounding us at all times. Those who have gone
before us can reach us, through the Dream World. Sometimes it doesn't seem like
there's anybody out there. Maybe our
dreams don't make any sense. We can't understand them, or we just aren't
listening. But I believe there is someone out there for everyone.
What we dream is influenced by our lives past and potential, plus all our
relations, favorable as well as punitive. If we don't treat people fairly,
we're actually setting up opposition in the Dream World, from those who have
gone before us - Passed on.
Our Ancestors come into play at critical moments in our lives, and can
reach us at those times. When we walk
on the dark side, we are in danger of doing ourselves harm. Unless we have some
good friends on the other side, and/or are at peace with our Creator, our
enemies can reach us at those times.
It's important that we pay attention to our dreams. Dreams are often more real than life,
because they have the ability to show us where we're at. Our subconscious mind is smarter than we are
because it's linked to our Total Awareness.
My sweat lodge has a pie shaped ceiling with twelve sections. Each section can be likened to a life
equivalent. When we're in a sweat lodge
ceremony, our life comes up for review.
If we place the highlights (or low times) of our life into the context
of all twelve sections, we can see our life in terms of the past as well as the
future.
Our life is not a closed book.
It's more like a spiral staircase with an inter-connecting Center, a
whole bunch of steps that link us to our Creator. When we come into this life, a code of ethics is set up between
our past, our present, and our future potential. We can either go up or down the staircase, depending on how
reluctant or willing we are, to listen to the knowledge coming to us from our Larger Being.
We're not always aware of our Larger
Being because our inner awareness is busy keeping our life force
circulating. The inner movement, which I talked about at the beginning of this
section, has captured our aware nesses and distributed them into a
configuration of movements, passing through and around us called the aura.
It is conceivable that the characteristic pattern of every living being
is being expressed by the vibratory code of our aura. It's possible we could be linked with all beings dead or alive,
through the larger universal aura - our living Galaxy.
If the Creator has recorded the past in His memory bank, it's possible
our Ancestors can reach us through the auroric being of the Universe. A connection between individuals dead or
alive could be facilitated, through the Dream World, because our personal aura
is in configuration with the Larger One.
Within the harmonics of the Universe, our aura is probably being
generated by our own personal speck of eternal Light, one of trillions in the
giant Mandela of impulses, which is right now slipping through Time and
Space. We slip from one harmonic resonance
to another as we mature. Every time we
change, a new set of archetypes and ancestors could become available to us,
through the Dream World.
Should we choose to become aware of our inner self, and consequently the
center of our soul, we will need to learn how to deal with our life with
maturity. I believe this is what we
need to do to ‘overcome death’; all aspects of our life must be dealt with.
When we die, I believe our soul (our little speck of eternal Light) heads
towards a Light at the end of a tunnel. The Light at the end is our true self,
our true being, which we can only face if our components of time-life have been
reckoned with.
As we fly through the tunnel, we see our whole life (the ‘good and bad’
slots) in relation to our pure self, the Light at the end of the tunnel. If we have lived a good life (our conscience
is clear) we may be able to go right through and face the Light (our true
being) thereby entering the next state of our awareness with our marbles intact
(fully conscious). This is called
everlasting life.
However, if our life is full of regrets, and we harbor a lot of
unfinished business, we won't be able to stand looking at our true self. We
will automatically lose consciousness, and get kicked out of the dying tunnel
–we will not become aware of this great transition.
Many people believe in re-incarnation, but not too many believe that they
will be worse off. Think of all the
places in the world you could end up in. It's a good reason to try and behave.
There is no one judging us. The Judgment happens automatically when we pass
through the dying tunnel, when we come face to face with our true self, that's
why it's so important to deal with our life honorably.
Religions are all trying to tell us that our future depends on how well
we deal with our life. But many people
no longer believe, because they don't understand how it's all set up. The most important moment in our life is our
dying moment. How we've dealt with our
life, affects how we pass on.
The earliest thing I can remember is becoming aware of my self, while
lying in my crib. I was looking at my
hands and making sounds, totally aware for the first time. Although I can't remember much else from my
early childhood, that's the one event which sticks out clearly - gaining my
consciousness.
I suspect it’s possible, on some worlds, to ‘walk’ from one life into the
next. "Overcoming death" does
not mean not dying. It simply means,
dying without any unresolved issues. I think we need to learn how to die. We shouldn't have to lie and suffer. When we're ready to go, we should be able to
pass on with honor.
I believe dying and being born is a similar ‘transition’. I think it may
be possible for us to maintain our consciousness during that process.
Most babies scream when they come into this World, but after a few
seconds they're looking around in awe.
"By God, I've made it".
It isn't long afterwards that they fall asleep, and before long their past
is forgotten. Their past becomes a
component of their new awareness, and Life begins anew.
